Our customer is a multinational major group and one of the worldwide market leaders in the area of process industry, heavy machinery and engineering. The purchase team searches for the region Klagenfurt (near the Slovenian border) with immediate effect a Regional Lead Buyer
Ihre Aufgaben
- Coordination of the international purchasing agenda in the field of machinery and spare parts
- lead procurement activities for assigned suppliers/commodities
- lead and support contractual negotiations with suppliers
- lead regularly scheduled cross functional program reviews for assigned suppliers/commodities
- administrate internal and external supplier contacts
- coordinate and control related logistical aspects
- liaise with other departments such as engineering and project-management to resolve various issues
Qualifikation
- technical education and/or technical knowledge
- some years experience in international procurement is preferred (technical purchase)
- basic knowledge of legal terminology and strategic knowledge
- very good English skills written and spoken, additionally Italian skills are preferred
- stress-resistant, strategic and operational planning skills, willingness to learn
- support moderate travel
- interpersonal skill to work effectively with a variety of individuals, department and organizations, „hands-on" mentality
